Stability at launch
IGN’s hardware pass and several reviews describe hitching, long enemy turns, and locks at mission complete — including on machines above recommended spec. A day-zero patch exists; it did not erase every report.
Practical steps: cap FPS, drop upscaling experiments if the image hitching gets worse, verify Steam/EA files, disable overlays, and do not treat Linux/SteamOS as a supported first-class target yet. Consoles expect a performance mode; check the latest patch notes for 4K/30 versus 60 splits.
